I have reviewed this earlier but now I feel there is an improvement overall in terms of facilities, toiletries, reception and house keeping. It is close to Caritas hospital and close to temples and shopping in Ettumanur. The breakfast was also carte and not buffet but still they provide all.

A good stay : The rooms are neat and clean though a bit small. There was a slight problem with AC control in the room. Kindly fix it. The housekeeping is good. We haven't used the restaurant. However we are satisfied with the overall service...

The excalibur hotel register put us at the second floor. can't get a good night sleep with the constant machinery running noise. The hotel lobby is very nice to put us on a different floor. Room is quieter and with a better view. Room doesn't have coffee pot nor microwave. A cup of coffee costs $4+, so bring your own kettle.

Booked for a business purpose, At the check in time the staffs were so cool and didn't take too long. They offered free breakfast too. The rooms were so neat and clean. I recommend this for family too. Im satisfied!!

Travelled on business. Located outside Kottayam on the MC road. Is no resort but just a small hotel. I checked in to the hotel and they had no bell boy to help me with luggage or show me to the room. The complimentary breakfast was terrible and not a buffet as you would expect in most places. They had dosa, poori or paratha and I was asked to order one. After almost half an hour got an amateur dosa. The same was repeated the next day. As the hotel was away from the city I decided to have dinner at the restaurant but after having waited for almost an hour had to leave. Avoid the restaurant at all costs. The room was reasonably good. Bathroom was clean and well maintained.
